The objective of a notebook is to organize yourself throughout the course.
Students should maintain a 3-ring course notebook with numeric chapter or unit tabs.
Maintaining your work and notebook:
A. You should retain all work such as chapter notes, quizzes, labs, and other assignments.
B. All work should be neat and in pencil.
C. You should keep all work in the course notebook until asked to discard them.
D. For the Honors Chemistry course, a chapter manila folder will contain UNGRADED homework and assignments to be turned in on the day of the unit test. Such work is normally stamped for completion. For Physical Science, homework is collected as assigned.
E. Each course schedule, learning targets, Powerpoint slides/notes, and lecture videos reside on the relevant course page of Arbuckle.Weebly.com. Hardcopy worksheets (which also reside on the site) are distributed at the beginning of each unit or relevant class period. Resources can easily be downloaded from the website during any absence from class.
F. Weekly schedules are posted on the board and the website.
Unit folders for Honors Chemistry are collected and assessed the day of the unit test.
